Since we’ve been into war games lately with the Warlords: Call to Arms game, I hope you guys still have some fight left in with you as we review today the Whiteboard War: ChopRaider game coming from developer, Virgil Wall.

And in case you’re wondering why it’s called Whiteboard War, well, that because just like the ever-famous Desktop Tower Defense game, Whiteboard War: ChopRaider also exploits the use of average everyday office equipment. And in this case, it’s markers and whiteboards as the colors clash in a war that involved all the felt-tipped kind.

The Whiteboard War: ChopRaider game is actually the first installment to a possible series of games involving the Whiteboard War story. Well, yes, this game actually has a story. And surprisingly enough, it involves grudge, revenge and near-futile resistance that resulted to the now amok war of the markers.

Anyway, the story is kinda funny too. So I suggest you guys just check it out here.

The Review

Honestly, the Whiteboard War: ChopRaider game is as action-packed as they can get with its very addictive game play. The graphics are simple but are also intentionally made for the theme of this game. The music however is lacking but the sound effects are nice enough to make a good impression in my opinion.

What I really liked in this game though is the challenge it presents. In the campaign mode, there are only a total of 8 missions wherein you’re task is to just take out all the enemies’ War Factories. This is actually easier said than done because as you control the lone blue ChopRaider assault helicopter, you’ll soon be bombarded with Crimson’s heavy artillery cannons, enemy boats and fighter jets while you also try to protect your carrier ship from being destroyed. Honestly, I even had trouble playing Normal mode and as of this writing, I’m still stuck at stage 6 of the campaign. I swear I’ll finish the game after the day ends though. :-P

Definitely, if you like the challenge to put your skills to the test, the Whiteboard War: ChopRaider game will certainly fill in that gaming hunger. It’s really one fun game and I’m looking forward into playing the sequel for more of Whiteboard War. I bet when you try it out, you’ll think the same way too. :-)
