The Treasures of Mystery Island is a hidden object game about an air courier and his efforts to bring back the lost belongings of his customers within an uncharted island. But there are some mysteries about this island too behind its fun and lively visage, and it seems like our protagonist is on to some adventure finding them all.

Alex is an air courier and he is about to get married soon to his boss’ daughter. Well, that’s not really the problem though; because one day during a trip, his plane got struck by lightning and he found himself stranded on some uncharted island. No worries, it seems, because the people are friendly and accommodating, not to mention lazy and messy too. There’s more to this island than meets the eye too, but first, you have to gather all your customer’s items before anything else.

The gameplay of The Treasures of Mystery Island is divided into 2 tasks for you to do. First, in order to ask favor from the various characters in the island, you are given tasks to clean their messes, gather broken pieces of things and assemble them. Assembled objects are meant to be put on their proper places, mostly located on a different area on the map, basically meaning that switching hidden object scenes is prevalent on this game in order for you to finish each stage.

After your merry cleaning, you are then tasked to collect all of your customers’ lost belongings. Each customer is represented by a card bearing his or her profession. Hidden objects are not listed though, but they certainly follow a single theme, which is actually the owners of the objects, ranging from a little boy, to a cowboy to a businessman. After that, there are mini-games scattered all around the levels to play, all in all making this a very fun and diverse hidden object game.

The overall presentation of The Treasures of Mystery Island is great. 3D characters and animation, beautifully designed scenes, and good background themes adore the whole game from start to finish. The story keeps developing too even during the actual puzzle game, and with its unique gameplay, the game will surely keep you company for hours.

However, since you’re trying to find broken pieces of every object, too much pixel-search is involved just to find them all. Good thing is that there’re an unlimited number of hints, and there’s no time pressure to worry about, giving you all the time in the world to finish each level. And considering the magnificent presentation, crappy computer units might find themselves waiting too much just for the game to load.

In terms of gaming experience, this is still one very good game, and I suggest you guys try it out for yourselves.
