We all just want to be big rock stars but never really had the opportunity nor the resources to do so. But that wouldn’t stop us in building our dreams, right? And with the Rock Tour game coming from Gabriel Entertainment and GameMill Entertainment, you can become part of a rock band on your own, or even manage your own rock band with this musically-inclined Simulation game.

Anyways, if you’re expecting some Guitar Mania clone on this one, I hate to burst your bubble but it’s not. Instead you are tasked to choose, manage and bring your rock band to fame from scratch, and doing just that requires your full time in bringing them what they need.

For starters, you have to schedule their practices, gigs and have them participate on musical events. Eventually, doing these tasks on a regular basis will bring curious people to your shows and hopefully build your fan base. And when it’s time for you to really shine, your band will have to start working on releasing rock albums and of course, rake in the moolah in the process.

Rock Tour really takes you in-depth to the music industry and will definitely open your eyes into its sheer complications. Not only will you manage your band but also shoulder their new equipments, pay for their advertisements and publicity, and of course, renew their contracts when they expire. In fact, it pays to know your audience too, and what you make your band do depends essentially to the data gathered from your fans.

While I’ve been telling you guys how good the Rock Tour game is in terms of gameplay throughout this post, I have to say that its greatest feature is still its overall presentation. The graphics are very nice and I can’t even explain how much I loved the music. In fact, you can even hear your band actually play the songs, and it’s just amazing on how most of the songs are beautifully written.

So, if you really don’t mind the dragging gameplay nature of simulation games, then Rock Tour is definitely worth the try. You won’t see the overall potential of the game from the free trial though, but nevertheless, its better that you get to fulfill your rock band dreams even for such a short time, right?
