Mahjong Burger Game Review
Mahjong Games, Online Games March 25th, 2008It’s been quite a while since we last reviewed a mahjong game and because of that, our mahjong category has been getting rusty without new games added to its roster. Therefore, it’s really a pleasure that we get to review today the Mahjong Burger game coming from gamesgames.com. And since I’m getting really excited to be playing another tile-matcher for a change, let’s get to the review then, shall we?
In case you’ve forgotten already, the objective of the Mahjong Burger game (and of any other mahjong game for that matter) is for you to eliminate mahjong tiles from the playfield by matching them up with a tile of the same pattern and design. And unlike most mahjong games that mostly incorporate themes coming from lost civilizations, in this game, you get to run a fast food joint which, I guess, is a first for games of this type.
Really now, I’ve seen fast food themes used in most time management games, but I never though that it can be used for mahjong also. Kudos to the developer for such creativity. And considering that there’s this time management feel to it (you’ll know it when you play), I can say that this is really some frantic mahjong game compared to the rest.
The Review
Playing the Mahjong Burger game made me reminisce about the last time I played games of this type, and from what I can remember, I had so much fun whenever I get to clean up those silly little tiles. But what I really liked about this game is the girl’s funny little actions during play which makes it very entertaining other than the typical mahjong action you’d expect. The challenge is also set within 3 levels, so you’ll have a chance to set your skill level too and “hard” is really quite hard in my point of view.
What’s bad about this game though is that some of the burger variations are kinda indistinguishable at first glance. There are also these miscellaneous tile patterns too like the doll and the car, which I think are unnecessary considering the overall theme of the game. But all in all, if you don’t mind these things too much, I guess you’ll like the game too.
Anyway, it’s now time for you to decide.
