Drunken Masters Game Review
Action & Arcade Games, Online Games, Time Management Games March 10th, 2008Sorry, but there ain’t any kung-fu fighting here…
The Drunken Masters game coming from flash game author Dan Hoelck is actually a game about serving drinks and doing the things all the hip bartenders do best - to entertain!
The objective of the game is for you to earn money and rise into bartending greatness by mixing drinks, serving your customers and keeping them entertained through a variety of tricks. Pick your character from 10 choices of potential bartenders, each one having their own initial strengths and weaknesses, and level him/her up for more bottle-flipping fun. Learn the tricks of the trade and eventually reap what you sow.
The Review
At first glance, I thought that the Drunken Masters game is simple enough to master in just one sitting, but even through the initial tutorial courtesy of the cigar-smoking Frank, I found myself really practicing all of the moves for like, 5 minutes each trick before having the guts to play the actual bartending game. Really, this is not your usual load-and-start-kicking-butt kind of game, but you know what? Even though most games of this type are plain boring, the Drunken Masters game is actually loads of fun.
Well, it’s kinda frustrating at first, but when you really get the hang of it, this game is just plain awesome and addicting!
The graphics and character drawings are very nice, and coupled with well-blended music tracks; this is actually one hell of a great game. Be warned though that the game may be rough running on slow computers as per the creator, but I didn’t have any problems at all with my 256K computer memory.
The Drunken Masters Deluxe Edition is also currently (during the time of this posting) available for just $1.50 on the author’s website. It’s a measly sum to pay in getting more out of the Drunken Masters game, so if you liked the free version, you’ll definitely love the Deluxe Edition better. Not to mention also that the price will obviously not be fixed on a very cheap level, right? By the way, I’m not earning anything from this; it’s just my way of giving support to the author, that’s all.
Play the Drunken Masters game here.
Edit: Some corrections were made on the game’s pricing. Thanks Dan!

I never really expected the amazing response the game’s getting- thanks a lot for taking the time to review it, it really means a lot to me. I just had a small correction to make- the Deluxe Edition’s going for $1.50 now. Paypal was reaming me with transaction charges. Thanks again!
Wow! Now Dan Hoelck, himself is here!
I updated the price, and some of the text so that I won’t be updating again and again (I’m such a lazy person). Thank you for the visit, the comment, and of course, the amazing game!
Yo Dan.Can you tell me what is the name of the rap song at PowerHour?Pls help me
Hey Glendon, sorry I didn’t get to your comment sooner. The song’s “Momentum”, it’s by Masai of Central Digit. You can find the rest of his album at centraldigit.com
