Coming from a company that calls themselves Awesome Mega Mighty Games, we get to feature today a game that is simply called Drops! And much like the simplicity of its title, grasping this game’s overall mechanics requires the same amount of brainwork too. And that’s definitely a good thing for those of us who just want to strip away all need for fancy rules and just dive in to the actual game play. Much like when Tetris and Arkanoid graced our gaming paths many years back. 
Anyway, let’s just talk about Drops!
Drops! is actually a puzzle game that employs a Match 3 (actually it’s a Match 2) type of game play where your objective is just to eliminate the most number of drops that you can within your game screen. Any two or more adjacent same-colored drops can go poof when clicked, leaving the drops on top to fall down or add more drops to the right of the game panel. And basically, that’s all there is to this game. Just eliminate the most number of drops for more points and go list your score against other players for the world to see at the game’s website.
What really surprised me though is that Drops! actually needs strategy if you really want to rake up the points. At first try, I found my games ending very fast after there’re no more combinations left in my board. Logically, you just need to plan the drops’ placement whenever you take each action, but that, my friend, is definitely easier said than done since more multi-colored drops will be entering the board as you go along the puzzle.
All in all, Drops! is really one simple but very challenging game. It’s really a shame that this game can be just too simple for our taste. But on the upside, it’s easy to get very much addicted to this game too. And considering the fact that Drops! is also beautifully designed in terms of graphics and music, I suggest you guys just try it out for yourselves and tell us what you think on the comment box below.

Drops! really is a fun and addictive game. I’ve been playing it for a while and I can’t seem to give it up… I still haven’t achieved that last drop and I can’t stop until I see what colour it is. You’d be surprised how much strategy is required.
