Just when you thought that day care centers had it easy just taking care of babies all day, Diaper Dash shows exactly how a fast-growing day care business often can’t be run by a single man alone. With this, we welcome the latest Dash time management game as a new citizen of Dinertown named Wilson makes his business debut by running his very own automated day care center.
Wilson is a scientist by trade and his job prior starting a business starts with the Rubber Ducky, Inc. – a company that specializes in doing baby experiments. After being fired from the corporation for touching an experimented baby, Wilson found himself without a job and living in the basement of his sister’s house. In these times of trouble, the famous Flo comes to the rescue and gives Wilson the idea of running his own day care center business wherein he can use innovative inventions to help him take care of his customers.
The idea behind Diaper Dash is just the same as all of the other Dash games. Your task as Wilson is to take care of dropped babies and tend to their needs like feeding, napping, playing and even changing their diapers. You earn more money depending on how happy each baby becomes before they are picked by their parents, and of course, all the money goes to the upgrade and expansion of the center afterwards.
Wilson is expected to fulfill additional tasks too like cleaning up the facilities when babies make a mess and throwing used diapers in the garbage can. Failing to do these tasks may result in Wilson earning less money than he ought to receive or worse, he won’t be able to continue on provide service especially during diaper refills. Good thing that in Diaper Dash, Wilson has his crazy inventions to help him fulfill his tasks. For example, the Cleanatron mops the dirty areas clean and the Toy Dispenser provides a boost in hearts for irritated babies.
For the player to rack in more points, Diaper Dash also rewards those who play the game more skillfully. Bonus points are awarded whenever each facility is used by succeeding same-gendered babies. A swapping bonus is also available whenever Wilson exchanges a baby currently using a facility with another baby he’s holding. Using these bonuses will help you reach Expert score in many levels, but of course, easily neglected too when the levels pick up pace.
All in all, Diaper Dash has a very addictive game play, and very challenging too when Wilson’s day care center finally attracts more customers. The game also includes several surprises up its sleeve to put the players at the edge of their seats, like special days wherein you’re only going to serve girl babies, and another day where you won’t be able to use Wilson’s inventions to help you out.
One awkward thing about the game play though is when Wilson needs to restock the diaper changing machine. Wilson tends to pick up the baby occupying the machine most of the time, making it pretty hard whenever too many baby diapers need to be changed. However, besides this, I say the game play is near-flawless, making Diaper Dash a real must-have game within the time management genre.
