The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 2Here’s one game to look forward to in this coming December.

After the original game, The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes sold over 200,000 online and retail copies, Legacy Interactive is proud to announce the release of the next installment in the series. The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 2 retains the hidden object gameplay of the original and is expected to surprise too with added features. Anyway, I’ll just leave you guys with the press release for more info.

The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 2 is the first computer game officially licensed by both The Sherlock Holmes Company as well as the Conan Doyle Estate. Join Sherlock Holmes in his exciting return to 221b Baker St. to solve 16 all-new mysteries. Come face-to-face with murder, theft, forgery, dog-napping and even the supernatural! With the help of Dr. Watson, Sherlock’s trusted right-hand-man, you will find more than 1,000 hidden objects while exploring 45 stunning locations set in Victorian-era London. See the world through the eyes of Sherlock Holmes as you track down suspects while solving dozens of challenging puzzles and mini-games. Narrow down the list of suspects by playing a Sudoku-style picture game to piece together the evidence. Sherlock Holmes will be put to the ultimate test as you match wits with over 100 characters and ultimately unravel the mystery of whodunit.

“We are thrilled to be developing the first game that is endorsed by both the Conan Doyle Estate and the Sherlock Holmes Company,” said Ariella Lehrer, President and CEO of Legacy Interactive. “We take our commitment to quality very seriously, and hope to exceed the expectations of the millions of fans worldwide of this beloved license. The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 2 will provide hours of entertainment for Sherlock Holmes, puzzle, and mystery fans alike.”

Here’s another preview coming from Her Interactive to prepare for the release of Nancy Drew Dossier: Resorting to Danger! by September.

Enjoy!

You, as Nancy Drew, must stop a bomber from ruining the Redondo Spa clients’ rejuvenation and relaxation. The high maintenance clients won’t be happy if they find that their retreat is about to explode, even if the bombs are more prankster grossouts than dangerous.

Now, Nancy Drew is undercover as the spa gopher catering to the customers’ eccentric requests while defusing bombs. From celebrities who escape here to the receptionist at the front desk—everyone is a suspect! Who is sabotaging the spa and can Nancy catch the culprit before the spa loses all of its clients?

Features:

  • First person POV empowers players to become Nancy Drew and crack the case
  • Story-based experience with a compelling mystery that moves forward with logical and clear goals
  • As Nancy Drew, players find clues, interview suspects, and solve puzzles to unravel the story
  • Intuitive game experience is easy to pick-up-and-play, user-friendly and forgiving

  • Redesigned UI gives player more options to interact with the environment
  • Point Rewards: The better sleuth you are, the more points you can earn to unlock bonus content
  • In-game riddles, activities, and puzzles add more brain-teasers to the game

I just got a preview build of Cooking Dash: DinerTown Studios coming from PlayFirst and will, of course, take time off from work once again to get to review this sequel to the highly popular Cooking Dash time management game. This time around, the venue to Flo’s newest adventure takes place in DinerTown Studios, where all of DinerTown’s TV series are born.

Expect the game to have more challenge and involves more strategy than its predecessor as new elements come to play in the world of Cooking Dash. In all of the game’s 5 stages, Flo will be busy keeping all the actors, directors and crew happy with her diner food, and keep us casual gamers having fun too as we help her out.

Anyways, just to keep teasing you more, check out some of the screenshots below. The review will come as soon as the game is released.

Features:

  • 3 new celebrity customers with special power-ups and unique features that help you score extra points
  • Over 25 new decoration and functional upgrades to purchase
  • 5 new on-set restaurants, each with an original menu that now includes 2 and 3-course meals
  • 10 medals to earn throughout the game
  • More than 50 television-themed levels of gameplay

I know it’s not the usual review but I was recently informed about the launch of a brand new casual MMORPG that you guys might enjoy playing as you await further games from Casualicious. The game is called Dragonica Online and introduced as a joint venture between THQ Inc. and ICE Entertainment, and their joining forces aptly named THQ*ICE.

The game was recently available for Chinese players (since ICE Entertainment is based on China) under the name Dream Dragon and is now known in the area as one of the most popular MMO’s today. Dragonica Online is in full 3D, with side-scrolling gameplay and fast-paced action combat that will surely make you guys addicted for hours and hours of fun. And best of all, it’s planned for free to play so I guess there’s no harm in trying it out in its Alpha stage.

Fans can get a hands-on preview of the game when it opens for Beta testing in the summer, but for now, you can check out the game’s website located at dragonica.thqice.com to get a close look at the game mechanics and features and look at the sample screenshots below to see how cute and action-filled the graphics is.

This is likely to be a very cool game. Hope you guys appreciate the news!
